This sheet music is for a three-part ensemble requiring three (3) sets of 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instruments (notated for two sets of Handbells and one set of Boomwhackers®). Each instrument set carries the melody for one verse and plays harmony on the other verses. When not playing the melody, the Boomwhackers® maintain a steady rhythm with 2-note chords. Included in this set of scores is a 3-page combined score with all three parts on a grand staff plus a separate 2-page, 1-staff score for each individual part.

This set of scores uses black and white noteheads and is best suited for musicians already familiar with reading standard music notation. For beginning musicians, this same set of scores is available (sold separately) with color coded noteheads (requires a color printer).

The two Handbell sets have the same note range: C D E F G A C* where C* is one octave above middle C. The notes used by the Boomwhackers® are C D E F G A. Though this sheet music is notated for handbells and Boomwhackers®, this arrangement is playable by any 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel.

The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes for a total group size of 9 players. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. At one note per person, a group of 20 players would be required.

Other suggestions and uses:
* have all parts played by only bells (requires 3 sets) or all parts played using only Boomwhackers®
* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church
* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, just to name a few
