Beethoven Sonata No. 8 2nd Movement “Adagio cantabile” for PIANO SOLO. This highly beloved movement (Adagio cantabile) from Beethoven’s Sonata No. 8 (“Pathetique”) exemplifies the expressive Adagio style of many slow movements in the classical period. The cantabile from this movement was used as the theme music for radio's most widely listened-to classical music program hosted by Karl Haas, Adventures in Good Music, which aired nationally in the United States and in many other countries from 1970 to 2007. This edition also includes a short biography of Beethoven.

I heard this played in the movie "Little Women" and had to have it! It's perfect, a little challenging in the middle but worth the practice time to get it right! It took me about 2 weeks to play at tempo. Its my new favorite! Make sure you have...

a workable printer, though! I had trouble with mine but fortunately got it working. When I asked the company to print it for me due to my technical difficulties and mail it to me, they said they couldn't do that due to copywrite laws. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars.
