I love these alto duets. Telemann may be my favorite composer for alto recorder duets. They are playable, interesting, challenging, melodic, and mood enhancing. My duet partner and I were surprised when we discovered that our editions, though they were both published by Schott, had variations in the Alto 2...

part and so we ended up just sharing her edition so that we were both seeing the same parts as we played. (Her earlier edition also had a fold out third page, avoiding an awkward page turn, which would have been nice). Very happy with this edition.
