This is the teachers' accompaniment for the famous Kreutzer studies. I picked up a second-hand copy of this book and am using it to play with my daughter, whom I teach. It's great! The arrangements are very musical - more so than the well-known Mazas duets. They enable...

the teacher to keep the pupil to a steady beat and to shape the phrasing and dynamics without nagging! The pupil is also less self-conscious when playing as a duet. These second violin parts are quite a bit easier than the actual studies, so might be playable by younger siblings.
