Probably the best book of its type i have purchased. The history and technique tips are an interesting and helpful extra. All i need to do now is learn them all and persuade the band to include some in the set list!

  • June 18, 2009 Same Key as the original songs ?

I see the book comes with demo tracks for the songs. Does anyone know if the music is in the same key as the original song so we can play along with that instead of the demo?

The book is great for just "having fun". Don't buy it expecting full songs. You will only gets partials or choruses.

  • December 04, 2008 25 great sax solos review

I personaly found this book very good and full of new challences in terms of learning and create new sounds and effects on the sax. The only downside is that many solos are writen for thenor sax players and a few for alto sax players so me being a alto...

sax player i had to work out the notes for those other pieces but hey , in the end is all a good exercise
