I love playing this piece. There are parts of the last movement that I have had to play daily for a month before it flowed properly at speed. This is a composition for an advanced recorder player with a good well broken in instrument. It is not just the recorder...

part that is interesting, all of the players are equally involved in Telemann's sonatas. This is a good piece to add to your repertoire since it develops your skill as a musician. Well played this sonata will earn the recorder player the respect of the other musicians because it is artistic, expressive and virtuosic all in one piece!
