Israeli conductor and arranger Rotem Weinberg is a cross-genre musician, at home in classical and pops repertoires alike. In his native Israel Rotem led numerous ensembles, achieving national acclaim as a conductor and educator. His arrangements are played by many professional and student ensembles, and are known for their high level content, layout, and attention to detail. In spring 2020 he earned a Doctoral degree in orchestral conducting from the University of Michigan, where he also earned his Master’s degree. At Michigan he served as the music director of both the Michigan Pops Orchestra and the Campus Symphony Orchestra, leading these ensembles to new heights. His undergraduate studies took place in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.
