Originally composed for choir and piano in 1912 by Lili Boulanger, Hymne au Soleil, is an exciting piece and ideal of any intermediate concert band. With many parts doubled there is sure to be a rich harmony throughout and whilst the piece should be performed with a choir it can also be performed as a piece for Concert Band alone.
