Originally performed on 1 May, 1786, "The Marriage of Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro)" has become a mainstay of the operatic repertoire. The overture is the best known portion of this composition and is performed on it own quite often.I have presented it here in a format for Woodwind Quintet in its original key (D Major) and also in E-flat for those groups that prefer that sort of thing. I think it works well either way. I hope you do too.
