This arrangement of "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" (original German title "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen") is written for 18 bells from a standard two octave set of bells, tone chimes or hand chimes. The shifting meters and interweaving voices make this song a challenge for early intermediate to intermediate players. There are no special techniques used, allowing this piece to be played on tone chimes and hand chimes as well as on handbells. This piece times out at between two and two and a half minutes. This is a reproducible product. This piece may be purchased as a score for one performing group, and copies made for the members of that one performing group. This allows your group to mark and annotate your music for different playing situations. Save money and storage space. File a single master copy and change markings from year to year.
